END OF TERM ACTIVITIES AT ARDROSS PRIMARY
Christmas Lunch
A reminder that Christmas Lunch is available in school tomorrow, Thursday 15th December, at the usual price of £2.30 per pupil and free to all P1-3 pupils.
Break-time will be slightly earlier at 10am and lunch served at 12noon.
Straw and Order
Our Performance will take place from 7pm in the Ardross Hall tomorrow night, 15th December, and we hope to see you all there. Entry is payable at the door at £5/adult, £3/concession. We have an amazing raffle and teas/coffees will be available for a donation.
Please can all children be at school for 6.15pm (6.30 at the very latest) to get into costume – thank you!
Carol Service
After an early lunch at 12noon, our annual carol service will be held in the Ardross Church from 1pm on Monday, 19th December, and everyone is invited along. Mr Rapson has kindly donated a free bus to transport the children and Mr Jones will be helping us with the service. There will be a collection plate at the church and any donations will be forwarded to the Archie Foundation.
We hope you will all come back to school after the service and join us for mince pies and teas/coffees J
Cinema Trip
The whole school will attend Vue Cinema in Inverness on Thursday, 22nd December. We are still waiting to hear what film we will get to see!
As we are due for a morning screening, we must leave a.s.a.p. at 9am – please ensure all children are in school sharp as Vue cannot delay the start of the film. Juice and crisps will be provided for all and we will be back to school in time for lunch (although it might be slightly late due to traffic etc.)
Last Day – Friday, 23rd December
Our end of term party will take place in the hall during the morning with dancing and games. There will be NO TOAST, but a buffet lunch will be served at 12noon for those on school meals. In the afternoon we are hoping for a special visitor to the school.
School will close for the holidays and buses will run at the normal times, although all children will be free to go from 2.30pm.
