The P4-7s had a great time on Tuesday investigating different varieties of mini beasts to be found in our school environment. As the grass had just being cut, there were plenty to be found. Have a looks at our photos.
The weather was just perfect for being outside.
Afterwards we went onto the bus to do some research on the mini beasts that we had found. It was great working in a classroom on the top of a double decker bus!
Can you see the different equipment that we got to use?
Two of our girls look as if they think a snail might make a good pet!
We also got a chance to look at the skulls of different Scottish creatures.
The whole day was very much enjoyed by us all. Thank you to the Wild About Scotland team. We learned a lot about what to look out for in our playground. Maybe not wildcats though!
