Oyster Catchers

We are still waiting for the sound of little cheeps from the two eggs that the mummy oyster catcher is doing such a good job looking after.

She is very brave and doesn’t even get up when the children are out at playtime running about just 3m away from her.

Meanwhile the daddy oyster catcher, when he is not chasing the crows, is spending a good deal of time wandering along Fiona’s office window sill looking at his own reflection and thinking it is another oyster catcher.  He must have a sore beak as he is attacking the windows and making a bit of a mess.
