Library Van
The next visit of the mobile library will be on Tuesday, 6th October – please ensure your child has any books with them that need returned.
Swimming Lessons
Swimming for P4-7 will continue each Friday that the school is open until Friday, 18th December.
School Meals
New menus for next term will be sent home next week. Meals for P1-3 pupils remain free of charge and for paying pupils the cost remains at £2.10/day. We appreciate meals being paid for on a Monday morning if possible in order that Mrs MacDonald can balance her books and orders.
Attendance
Highland Council is keen for all children in school to achieve at least 95% attendance in a year. Whilst we are fully aware that ‘things crop up’ in normal day-to-day life, we would ask that you help us maintain our good attendance records and low levels of arriving late to school. Many thanks.
Enterprise Afternoons
Following on from discussions at the Parent Forum Meeting, we would like to remind you all that parents are extremely welcome to come in any Friday afternoon and participate in enterprise activities with the children. With our Winter Fayre coming up soon, we would be happy for any help we can get!!
Winter Fayre
The Ardross Hall has been booked for our Annual Winter Fayre on Saturday, 5th December from 10am-2pm. Tables are available to hire for anyone wishing to sell goods at a cost of £10 per table. Please contact Fiona in school on 01349 882345 if you are interested.
Music Tuition
Mike Simpson will return for 2 further sessions after the holidays with P6/7. Also Feis Rois will be back after the break. John Thompson, vocal tutor, will return to P1-3 later in November.
Fluenz Immunisations
For those children who are to receive the flu immunisations, the nurse’s team have told us their intended date for Ardross Primary is Wednesday, 4th November.
Holidays
A reminder that school breaks up at the usual time next Friday, 9th October, and resumes at 9am on Monday, 26th October.
